How does it work?

Wireless Broadband utilises the strongest signal from the Optus GSM and 3G/'yes' G mobile networks. This means that even when you're on the move, your connection is maintained. To ensure that you are connected, your wireless modem and software continually monitors network availability and will connect you to the network in the following order:

(a) Optus 3G/2100MHz and 'yes' G network (900/2100MHz); and
(b) Optus GSM network.


The Wireless Broadband does not require a telephone service.


What do I need?

You will need to purchase a Wireless modem - your current dialup modem will not work with the Wireless technology. This is included in your Connection fee.


How does IBPA accept payment?

IBPA accepts payment by Credit card, Cheque, Australian Money Order or Direct Deposit. If you visit our office in Murarrie, Brisbane you could also pay by Cash or Eftpos.


How long does it take?

Once we have received your completed application form with payment, we endeavour to provide the service within two (2) to five (5) business days.


How do I sign up?

You will need to complete an application form. You can download the one below or we can post, fax or email out an application form to you. Call 1300 300 066 to request an application form.
