Jungle carpet python breeding program
My long term objective in this breeding program is an attempt to produce animals with high contrast and pattern variation. This could be possibly achieve using selected quality animals. The two best example of this species is a yellow and black banding effect and an iridescent striping pattern. To be able to combine this two different traits and still use one type of species (without intergrading subspecies) with a potential to produce a different looking and yet a pure jungle is a big bonus in this breeding program.
While many may disagree, but this method will also involve inbreeding first generation related pairs. With a great deal of time, money, patience and passion involved there is a greater chance on making this goal happen.
Although this does not guarantee that the offspring will turn out to be as pretty as the parents, this procedure will surely increase the chance of having hatchlings like the parents or for that matter maybe even better.
